Geelong
At the end of the Great Ocean Road we arrived at Geelong on the bay opposite Melbourne. It was a cloudy but hot day with a strong warm wind blowing off the sea. The beach was organised to make life as easy and enjoyable for every one as possible.
At the far end of the bay a superb shark proof enclosure had been built
and even though the sun was above the clouds, there were lots of people cooling off in the sea.
All along the promenade there are life size bollards of people from various walks of life. They certainly made us smile each time we discovered another on around a corner.
